Blog Creator

BlogCreator! used to be a standalone application which autoregitered Wordpress Blogs on your behalf.  It has been integrated into BlogSlammer in both an AUTOMATIC mode and SIMI AUTOMATIC mode.

The AUTOMATIC MODE allows you to search for blogs using MSN Live Search engine, populate a list of blogs (wp-signup.php pages), and allows you to registers them.   Only blogs that don't require a challenge question and/or a CAPTCHA key will be successful (about 10% in our tesing).

To register blogs, FIRST populate the BLOGS TO REGISTER text boxt with full urls to the wp-signup.php pages.  The search feature will automatically do this for by a search query in that box.

Second, enter in your blog registration information.  This is the information wordpress asks before registering a blog.

There are two modes of RSS posting.  You can make ONE post per RSS ITEM or you can make ONE POST FOR ALL RSS ITEMS.  By leaving "Post Single Post For All Items" UNCHECKED, you will create on post per item.    By checking this, you will create a single post for all items that repeats your template on a single post.  This is useful if you want to create a post to create links to another Wordpress blog of yours.

Once the RSS info is filled out, select your seed, template, and categories.  Once selected, click on "Post To Blogs".

Registration EMAIL ADRESS:

This is the email address used for registration.  To use the auto activation features of BlogSlammer!  use a STANDARD POP3 Email address (on PORT 110).

Registration USER NAME:

This is the Wordpress username created for the blog in question.  You can use the BlogSlammer! template syntax of "{word1|word2|word3}" to produce different usernames.  Be creative here and add something that will guarantee that your username will not be taken.  A series of numbers and the end would work.

Registration BLOG ID:

This is the Subdomain or Subdirectory name of your blog.  For example, blogx.wordpress.com has a blogid of "blogx".  As with user name, you can use the phrase creation ("{word1|word2|...|wordn}") syntax to generate unique id's for each blog.

Registration BLOG TITLE:

This represents your title of your blog.  Shown on every page and on every post.   Once again, the "{}" syntax can be used to create unique blog titles.

REGISTER BLOGS

The Register Blogs button takes the blogs in the "Blogs To Register" text field and attempts to register using the information provided in the above area.  Below this button are two boxes it "thinks" succeeded and "failed".  There are false negatives and positives.  Only the activation emails will tell you how many blogs succeeded.

AUTO ACTIVATION

Auto Activation allows you to enter your POP email server information and goes through your messages.  For each activation email, it calls the activation URL.  Once called, Wordpress sends a "NEW BLOG" email with your log in details.  Once it has gone through your email and activates, you can get your blog information in BlogSlammer! import format (blog url^usernamer^password) format by clicking on "Get New Blog Info:".

Once you get your new blogs, you can save them to file to post to or copy the text in the box and import into database (blog tab).

This only works with POP3 email addresses where the email server is on PORT 110.   An upgrade is in the works to work with GMAIL.  But in all honesting, when accessing a large email account like GMAIL, this could take HOURS.  So, it's a good idea just to find cheap hosting like PHPWebhosting.com.
